“Not on the list” doesn’t mean safe

This tool looks each domain up in a list of 10,143 disposable domains, and nothing else. A throwaway service nobody has added yet comes back as not on the list. It doesn’t look up mail servers or test mailboxes.

How it works

  • Subdomains count: inbox.mailinator.com matches mailinator.com.
  • Paste an address and only the part after the @ leaves your browser.
  • The domains go to our server for the check. We don’t store or log them.
  • It uses the copy of the free list built into this site, which changes when we deploy. The API’s copy refreshes daily, so the two can differ.

Checking signups, not a list?

The API does this on every signup, and adds mail servers, role addresses and typo hints like gamil.com to gmail.com. It takes 100 addresses in one request, and the first 100 checks a month are free.
