Free list
10,143 disposable email domains, free to download. No signup.
What’s in the files
The text file has one lowercase domain per line. The JSON file is one array of strings. Both are sorted.
This isn’t our list. It’s a copy of disposable-email-domains, an open project with its own maintainers, released under CC0. Use it however you like, with or without MailVet.
These files hold the copy built into this site, so they change when we deploy and can lag behind the source. If you want the newest version, take it from the source repo.
Fetch it
curl -sO https://mailvet.dev/disposable-domains.txtThen match the part after the @, lowercased, against the list. You host it, and you keep it current.
What the API adds
A list tells you a domain was known to be disposable. It can’t tell you a domain has no mail server, or that someone meant gmail.com. One API call does all of it.
| Check | The file | The API |
|---|---|---|
| Known disposable domains | As of our last deploy | Refreshed daily |
| Subdomains of a listed domain | Your code | Included |
| Mail-server (MX) check | No | Included |
| Typo hints (gamil.com: gmail.com) | No | Included |
| Role addresses (info@, admin@) | No | Included |
| Domains not on the list yet | No | A signal, partial coverage |
| Cost | Free | 100 checks a month free, then paid plans |
Neither one probes mailboxes, so neither can tell you whether a specific mailbox exists.
